Our ‘Communicating effectively with your community online workshop’ runs for 1.5hrs and is open to anyone who would like to learn the basics of health literacy and develop communication skills using the teach-back method.

Our workshop aims to

• Increase understanding of health literacy and its importance to health

• Increase confidence to effectively communicate information using the teach-back method

Our workshops are run online via Zoom and are capped at a maximum of 20 participants. They include discussions around case studies, facilitated group activities, interactive quizzes, as well as practical tips and tricks.

After the workshop you will receive a resource booklet and a certificate of participation.

Please note: our group workshops require a minimum number of 6 participants to run.
