Writing for your community: applying plain language
-
Our ‘Writing for your community: applying plain language ’ runs for 2hrs and is open to anyone who understands the four guiding principles of plain language and wants to put these into practice.
This workshop will allow participants to have hands-on experience applying their current knowledge of plain language by:
• Converting a sample document to plain language using enliven’s conversion checklist.
• Exploring the use of imagery to convey key messages
Our workshops are run online via Zoom and are capped at a maximum of 15 participants. They include discussions around case studies, facilitated group activities, interactive online tools, as well as practical tips and tricks.
After the workshop you will receive a certificate of participation, which you can add to your continuing professional development (CPD) record.
If you are unsure if this workshop is suitable for you, please email us at Healthliteracy@enliven.org.au. We are happy to discuss the required knowledge level further.
Please note: our group workshops require a minimum number of 6 participants to run.
